Dr. Béatrice Auger takes a humanistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy with individuals and couples. She is characterized by the importance she places on the therapeutic relationship as a driver of change, as well as by her authenticity and warm welcome. On these supportive foundations, she guides her patients through work that is at once reflective, emotional, and somatic, accompanying them toward greater well-being. She integrates a variety of methods to meet the unique needs of each patient, and draws on the therapeutic relationship itself as a privileged space for self-exploration and transformation.
Dr. Béatrice Auger has been practicing psychotherapy since 2019. She obtained her dual Psy.D. and Ph.D. degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she completed rigorous training combining scientific research and clinical practice. She has developed experience across a variety of settings, including a university clinic, a hospital centre, and a CLSC. She now devotes herself fully to private practice, offering services to the general population, members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), as well as First Nations and Inuit clients (NIHB). Guided by her curiosity and love of learning, she pursues ongoing professional development each year through continuing education and clinical supervision. From 2021 to 2024, she completed an extended training program in Gestalt Object Relations Psychotherapy (GORP) and is currently participating in a training on psychodynamic theory-based intervention (2025–2026).
