Dr. Jonathan Desaulniers practises psychotherapy in an integrative approach that primarily draws from the existential-humanistic movement along with systemic therapy. He strives to offer a process that is tailored to the specific needs, preferences and personality dynamics of each person. His vision of psychotherapy seeks to foster the development of the individual’s psychological, physical, emotional, intellectual, social and interpersonal potential.
Dr. Jonathan Desaulniers has been practising psychotherapy since 2016. He obtained a direct D.Ps. in psychology (Clinical program) at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 2018. His clinical training began at the Clinique universitaire de services psychologiques de Trois-Rivières by combining a practice of both individual psychotherapy and couples therapy. Dr. Desaulniers then joined the Health and social services network as part of a primary mental healthcare team in a CSSS. He has been with the CCCF since 2018 as a psychologist working with individuals and couples struggling with various issues.
