Rosemarie Lambert practices psychotherapy from a psychodynamic-humanistic perspective, which she tailors to the unique needs and challenges of each individual she works with. Her therapeutic presence is warm, authentic, and compassionate. She values a collaborative approach in which clients are actively supported in exploring their experiences, emotions, and relationships. She places particular importance on establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship that allows difficulties to be addressed within a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Rosemarie is interested in both her clients’ current concerns and their personal histories. This understanding aims to foster greater self-awareness, illuminate the underlying dynamics that contribute to emotional suffering, and help clients develop more fulfilling ways of meeting their needs.
Rosemarie Lambert will complete her Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) at the University of Sherbrooke in the summer of 2026, after which she will obtain her license as a psychologist. Her doctoral research focuses on anxiety in emerging adults. Pending licensure, she practices under the supervision of an experienced psychologist trained in Object Relations Gestalt Therapy (ORGT). Rosemarie began providing psychotherapy in 2022 with a diverse adult clientele. She first trained and practiced at the Psychological Intervention Centre of the University of Sherbrooke and later completed her doctoral internship within the public health and social services system, specializing in adult mental health. She currently continues to practice there on a part-time basis. In parallel, she remains actively engaged in her professional development by pursuing continuing education and specialized training relevant to her clinical practice.
